Detailed Product Description
Ceramic Foam Filters,including Alumina Ceramic Foam Filters, Silicon Carbide (SiC) Ceramic Foam Filters and Zirconia Ceramic Foam Filters, are used for molten aluminium and aluminium alloys, cast iron and non-ferrous alloys, all types of unalloyed steel, low alloyed steel, stainless and high-alloyed as well as Nickel and Cobalt-based super-alloys.Owing to the excellent resistance to thermal shock and corrosion from molten steel liquid, they can effectively remove inclusions, reduce trapped gas from liquid metal and provide laminar flow, and then the filtered metal is significantly cleaner. Cleaner metal results in higher-quality castings, less scrap, and fewer inclusion defects.
Size available:
7", 9", 12", 15", 17", 20", and 23", with porosities from PPI 10 to PPI 60(PPI ie pores per inch).
Other special sizes could be produced on request.
